JONATHAN PETERS: DJ TECHNICAL RIDER : Small Setup

Equipment required from the Promoter

1. Mixer: Jonathan requires to play on rotary DJ mixers, preferably a Rane MP2016 (with an external EQ processor if possible), Urei 1620LE, or Pioneer DJM 1000 with rotary kit. Those would be ideal.

2. 1 Pioneer EFX 1000 FX Unit or Pioneer EFX 500 with 2 stereo RCA unbalanced cables, connected as a send, not FX Loop(refer to connections)

3. 1 Pioneer CDJ 1000 CD player or similar device with one RCA unbalanced cable

4. DJ Booth Speaker Monitor System: 2 Full Range Loud Speakers placed left and right of the DJ and one High Quality Sub Woofer, all properly amplified, crossed over and connected to the DJ Mixer. Monitor level is to be controlled by Jonathan.

5. Power for Jonathan's Equipment: 4 Sockets minimum (preferably on it's own dedicated circuit)

6. Space For Jonathan's Equipment: Two 20"x 20" flat surfaces on left and right side of the DJ mixer. In place of turntables

1. Apple Mac Book Pro Laptop, 1 Kensington Expert Mouse Trackball, 1 Custom Midi Controller, 1 RME Fireface 400 Audio interface, 1 M-Audio Midi Sport Midi Interface and all necessary cables

Trackball to Laptop by USB, Midi Controller to Midi Interface(Midi-sport) by Midi cable, Midi Interface to Laptop by USB, Audio Interface(RME) to Laptop by Firewire 400, 4 Stereo 1/4" (instrument) to RCA Cables From Audio interface to first 4 line inputs on DJ mixer, Mixer Tape Output (Pre Fader) to Pioneer EFX input by RCA Cable, Pioneer EFX Output To Aux 1 on DJ MIXER which should be connected to last fader(knob) on a DJ mixer, Pioneer CDJ to Aux 2 on a mixer by RCA Cable.

1. 1 Table 6 feet long, 3 feet wide, 34 to 36 inches high (please follow these specs, they are very important!). Table must also be sturdy and isolated from any excessive vibrations.

2. DJ Booth Speaker Monitor System: 2 Full Range Loud Speakers placed left and right of the DJ and one High Quality Sub Woofer, all properly amplified, crossed over and connected to the DJ Mixer. Monitor level is to be controlled by Jonathan.

3. Power for Jonathan's DJ booth: 4 Sockets minimum (preferably on it's own dedicated circuit)

          Equipment brought by Jonathan

1. Rane MP2016 , 2 RME Fireface 400 audio interfaces, 2 Vermona Action Filters, 1 Custom Midi Controller, 2 Macbook Pro's, 1 22" Apple Cinema Display, 1 Pioneer EFX 1000, 1 Battery Back-up UPS, and all necessary cables, all housed in 2 custom steel boxes (21"x 10"x 14"each)

DJ Booth will be set up by Jonathan's Technician with venue's Sound Technician at least 2 hours before the Event.
